Lake Laut Tawar

The lake has a length of 26 Km, 5 Km width, and a depth of up to 50 meters. This lake is surrounded by cliffs with steep slopes and a volcano called Burni Telong which extends up to 2500 meters. The lake is called Laut Tawar because of its massive size that resembles an ocean but the water is fresh, not salty like the ocean.
